Michael Alves and Avin Ahmadi, two enchanting souls hailing from distant realms, unite their melodic artistry across the tapestry of parallel worlds. One, a virtuoso of the Violin, carrying the rhythmic heartbeat of Brazil within his fingertips. The other, is a wonderful Oud player and Vocalist, bestowing the soulful echoes and stories of Iran upon every note.

Avin Ahmadi and Michael Alves met in Vienna, during a jam session at the beautiful "Frau Mayer", a musical cafe bar located in the heart of the city; it was there that they discovered the magic of their connection, both musically and spiritually. 

From that moment on, they passionately cooperated togehter, creating "Mavin's Duo", performing in various places and hosting multiple concerts that create an artistic atmosphere where music and poetry connect to each other through nations. 

Their performance is a collection of  mostly their own compositions, pure improvisations including brazilian extracts, Folk Iranian traditional songs and a few Arabic Traditional songs. 

Avin Ahmadi's first single track, "Dopelk" was released on July 2023 with Michael Alves on the Violin.
